Warning: Article contains spoilers for 'Avengers: Infinity War'.

With so many big name stars, it’s a wonder that 'Avengers: Infinity War' managed to squeeze any more famous faces into its impressive cast.

It turns out that actor Kenneth Branagh did pop up in the latest Marvel blockbuster. While this isn’t a massive spoiler, if you haven’t seen Infinity War and would rather not know anything about it, now’s the time to stop reading.

Still here? Let’s continue.

Director Kenneth doesn’t physically appear in the movie, but you can hear him.

In the film’s opening moments, a panicked voice sends out a distress signal (later picked up by the Guardians of the Galaxy), explaining that Thor’s people are under attack.

It says: ‘This is the Asgardian refugee vessel Statesman…We are under assault. I repeat, we are under assault. Engines are dead. Life support failing. Requesting aid from any vessel within range. ‘Our crew is made up of Asgardian families, we have very few soldiers here. This is not a warcraft. I repeat, this is not a warcraft.’

The voice on the distress signal is Kenneth’s.

Branagh is no stranger to Marvel movies, having directed stars Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston in 2011’s 'Thor'. 'Infinity War' has had the biggest global opening weekend ever in the US, toppling 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' from its perch. 'Star Wars' gave Marvel a hat tip for the huge achievement, tweeting a picture of a lightsaber being handed over to Iron Man.
